The Parkway Forest Community Centre is a new public space in our community.
On September 19th, I had the pleasure of taking part in the official grand opening of the Community Centre. Over 500 residents showed up to take part in the event located at 55 Forest Manor Rd.It is a fully accessible building designed with input from the local community. It features a full-size gymnasium, youth space, preschool room, teaching kitchen, teaching garden, green roof, weight room, fitness/dance studio and walking track. The City of Toronto and Councillor Shelley Carroll have worked tirelessly to bring this center to our community.
